The application is hosted on Vercel; customer documents and data are stored on Supabase, with background processing on Upstash. The hosting and storage region is configurable per deployment. Where a customer requires a specific data residency (for example EU hosting and EU storage), that choice is set for their deployment and stated in their Data Processing Agreement — it is not a blanket product-wide guarantee. Answer generation and OCR run on Anthropic’s API, whose processing region is not currently selectable; zero data retention is available for those calls under an account-level agreement.
